How to create Perfect Dining Room Pairings

The Dining room is all about gathering with your friends and family, enjoying a meal, and catching up on the day. One of the most important aspects of the Dining Room is your table of course.  It has to be large enough to accommodate everyone, be the right shape and material for your uses, and acts as the anchor to the room.

The chandelier is the jewelry of the room.  It gives the room the dim soft lighting you want to create the right atmosphere or lights up the whole table for crafts and homework sessions.  I have created these perfect pairings of gorgeous dining tables and wonderful chandeliers to simplify your Dining Room design.

The Emerson Table from West Elm is perfectly rustic and modern at the same time

 Crystal and Metal Orb Chandelier
I love it paired with this mix of rustic bronze and elegant crystals

The Banks Reclaimed wood table from Pottery Barn looks traditional with it's carved detail legs

 Circle Lattice Hanging Lantern
Two of these lanterns above it would be perfect

This small metal top round table from Anthropologie can fit in a small dining room or kitchen

 16" Clear Glass Sphere Chandelier
This clear glass sphere modernizes the rustic wood and metal table and brings airy-ness to the space

This White distressed Farmhouse table from Ballard Designs has classic notched legs

 Hammered Steel Oversized Dome Pendant
This hammered metal pendant mimics the zinc top of the table and adds to the rustic farmhouse style of the table.  Two above this long table would fit perfectly.

Will you be updating your dining room soon? What do you think of these pairings?

Have you checked out this years HGTV Dream Home? Both the interior and exterior are beautifully put together with a Nautical theme for this Martha's Vineyard home.  There is tons of blue and white as you would expect with pops of different accents in the various rooms of the house.

What I'm Loving Now...Brick Floors

Brick floors were often seen in the traditional homes of the past, and were eventually replaced with now popular wood, tile, and carpet.  I love seeing brick floors coming back in many home styles from Traditional to Modern.

.

I love this herringbone entryway with the surrounding border

Mudroom. This Mudroom is just Perfect! Great Flooing and Storage space! #Mudroom #InteriorDesign Cabinet & Trim Paint Color: Benjamin Moore Acadia White OC-38

This classic southern home uses wood beams to create an X pattern to create visual interest in this small space

Modern kitchen neutral palette. Exposed brick wall column painted gray! Perfection. http://cococozy.com

In this modern kitchen the brick was painted white to blend with the modern glossy lacquer finishes.

How do you feel about using brick inside, would you consider it for your home?
